HFSC Explorer Program

The Houston Forensic Science Center (HFSC) Explorer program introduces students to forensic science and some of the disciplines that fall under that umbrella. Each monthly class will involve a short lecture and hands-on activity presented by real-life analysts and examiners from HFSC’s various divisions. The program will culminate with a mock crime scene where the students will put everything they learned into practice by collecting and testing evidence.

The Explorer program is open to high school students that are interested in the field of forensic science as a career. Students will receive hands-on experience in various scenarios that will help expose them to the different forensic disciplines our lab practices and support their ability to develop valuable skills.
