Houston Mayor Annise D. Parker, Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson,
Houston Police Department Capt. Jennifer Evans and Houston Forensic Science Center
Forensic Analysis Division Director Irma Rios will hold a news conference Monday to
announce a major accomplishment by the team that has been working to eliminate a
backlog of untested rape kits.
