The Houston Forensic Science Center invites the media to view its first group of Crime
Scene Investigators trainees in action at the Crime Scene House training facility near
downtown Houston. The 13 trainees are part of the first-ever HFSC CSI Academy, and
will be instructed in every aspect of crime scene investigation and other skills. Media
will get images of the group training in mock crime scenes and interview trainees and
senior level staff, including HFSC’s CEO and President Dr. Peter Stout and Jerry Peña,
Crime Scene Unit director.
